The Cyber Security in Telecommunications Conference was held on 12/03/2024, co-organised by the Digital Security Authority, the Cyprus Computer Society and the British High Commission, with great success.

The conference covered a wide range of important topics for the security of electronic communications networks and services. This sector is of high significance for the economy, on its own merits but also as the indispensable backbone for today's connected world, upon which all other critical sectors heavily depend. This dependence means that the cybersecurity of this sector becomes ever more important, and must take into account existing and rising new threats in cyberspace. The conference presentations covered topics such as the importance of national strategies and regulations for cybersecurity, the protection of services and infrastructure, incident management and technical threats that are being observed.

The Digital Security Authority, building on the momentum achieved in the past few years, continues to invest in the cybersecurity of electronic communications networks and services, to ensure their effective protection in our country, for the benefit of every business and citizen.
